The Parlay Betting System in Blackjack Betting

The Parlay Betting System is a betting system that can be used profitably in blackjack that involves use of a positive progression betting strategy. As the name suggests, this Parlay Betting System relies upon letting bets ride to compound upon one another. , also known as the “Let It Ride” betting system, is a positive progression betting strategy which is similar to the Paroli system. The Parlay betting system involves a bit of risk, but does not require a large bankroll to use. It does however rely upon winning a few bets in a row in order to show profit, and additionally for the bettor to show discipline in pressing the reset button.

How the Parlay Betting System Works
The Parlay system relies on you to allow your winnings to pyramid or ride on the back of your normal online black jack bet. As each bet occurs, you combine your winnings from the previous bet on top of your original bet. This system of betting can go on for as long as your bankroll is willing. The Parlay system works best for a player who gets up early and for those who are looking to put in a shorter session than normal.

Parlay Betting System Examples
Better explaining how exactly Parlay Betting in Blackjack works, we will look at an example. Supposing we are playing blackjack online, where the minimum bet is one unit and the table max is 100. We start our betting with one unit. We win, so our next bet is again one unit, plus our winnings. This means the second hand has a bet of two. Should we win that hand, we bet five, which is the four plus our bet of one. Essentially, we are allowing our winnings to work for us.

While no system produces results such as those shown in the above example, here is a more realistic perspective in parlay betting:
Same table limits at The Mirage, same bet of one in play. We decide to play betting regularly to get a feel for the table. At the end of the first shoe, we are up eight betting units. We begin to employ the parlay method to allow our winnings to work for us. Should we drop back to break even, we revert to betting a single unit.
We play hand one and lose, betting one unit. We lose hand two (our profit is plus six). We win hand three and four. Hand three we bet one and won one. Hand four we bet two and win two. Hand five we let our winnings ride, betting a total of five. If we win hand five we are reverting to one bet at a time and starting the parlay all over. If we lose, we start over anyway.
With discipline, the Parlay system can be profitable for the average blackjack player.
